The challenge

The Sarai Kale Khan interchange is one of Delhi's busiest transit hubs — serving metro, bus, and auto passengers throughout the day and into the evening. The brief required a canopy that delivered diffuse natural light across the full interchange area, without glare, without supplementary daytime lighting, and with structural integrity to withstand Delhi's summer thermal cycle.

The solution

Coxwell Multicell 14 mm clear in vault and eye-shape profiles across 5,239 m². The double-tooth interlocking system was specified for its leak-proof mechanical joint — no sealant maintenance in a high-footfall public environment. Diffuse transmission provides even, comfortable light from 6 am to 6 pm without artificial lighting.
