CE mark under EU Construction Products Regulation 305/2011
Why Coxwell is CE certified.
CE marking under the Construction Products Regulation (EU 305/2011) means that Coxwell panels have been independently tested and their performance declared against a harmonised European standard. The declared values — light transmission, thermal resistance, impact classification — are not self-assessed. They are tested by an accredited Notified Body.
For project teams specifying for public buildings, export markets, or international clients, the CE mark provides a single, verifiable reference point. It confirms the panel will perform as declared, regardless of where the project is located.
Coxwell maintains a Declaration of Performance (DoP) for each CE-marked product. These are available on request through your project team or directly from our technical documentation desk.
Seven certifications. One facility.
Coxwell panels carry the CE mark under the Construction Products Regulation (EU 305/2011). Declared performance values — light transmission, thermal resistance, structural load — are independently tested by an accredited Notified Body.
Quality Management System certification covering design, manufacture, and supply of polycarbonate systems. Audited annually by an accredited third-party certification body. Applies to the Alwar production facility.
Environmental Management System certification covering raw material sourcing, production waste, energy consumption, and end-of-life recyclability at our Alwar, Rajasthan facility.
Product documentation available to support LEED v4, LEED ID+C, and GRIHA submissions. Material disclosure data, recycled content statements, and VOC compliance documentation available on request.
Accelerated UV weathering tested to ASTM G155. Performance data demonstrates colour retention and impact strength over equivalent outdoor exposure cycles beyond ten years.
European fire classification for construction products. Declared fire-class documentation available for projects requiring fire performance of roof or façade materials.
Manufactured without substances of very high concern under REACH, and compliant with RoHS restrictions on hazardous substances. Full substance declarations available for export and compliance projects.
One plant. One standard.
All Coxwell panels are manufactured at our facility in Alwar, Rajasthan — India's most advanced polycarbonate extrusion plant. A single production site means every panel is made to the same tooling, the same material specification, and the same quality control process.
Certifications are not outsourced to a holding company. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 apply to this facility, this production process. When a project team specifies Coxwell, they are specifying a product made under a continuously audited quality management system — not a group-level certification mark.
