The challenge

The NCRTC Meerut elevated metro corridor required a view-cutting barrier along the viaduct — 8,500 m² of continuous polycarbonate to screen residential neighbourhoods from railway sightlines, while maintaining a light, non-oppressive visual mass.

The solution

Coxwell Multicell 16 mm in bronze tint was specified for its combination of visual opacity and warm light transmission. The bronze tint reduces the visual harshness of the structure from both sides — diffusing the viaduct's mass without creating a solid wall. Delivered and installed by L&T, 2025.
