The challenge

Bangalore International Airport's expansion required a polycarbonate canopy system meeting AAI's strict thermal and load specifications — in a warm, humid climate where heat gain and panel clarity over time are both critical concerns.

The solution

Coxwell Multicell 12 mm in solar ice tint — Y-shape and single-side slope profiles across 3,645 m². The solar ice tint reflects the solar spectrum responsible for heat gain while maintaining the light transmission required for a passenger terminal. Specified and installed to AAI standards, 2023.
